XWD has enabled Winter Coverage Mode due to the potential for a significant winter storm impacting the northeastern US.

A significant winter storm from the Mid-South today will transition to a strong Nor’easter for the Mid-Atlantic and New England by tomorrow. This storm will bring up to 15 inches of snow in spots with snow accumulations up to 2.5″ per hour. Dangerous road conditions are very likely in spots that are being affected, and may impact morning & afternoon commutes tomorrow.
