XWD has enabled Severe Coverage Mode due to a potential tornado outbreak today in parts of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued an Enhanced risk (3/5) of severe weather. Tornadoes will be the primary threat with a 10% hatched area mainly over central LA. Damaging winds and very large hail (up to baseball size) will also be a threat. These storms are already starting to fire off and will continue into the overnight hours.
