Chanhassen/Chaska
Minnesota
Tadd Parris
Was sitting at home in Excelsior when I heard the rain just coming down
hard. The rumble alone made me get up and look at what was going on. When
I turned on the radar I noticed these where again mini storms moving to the
SE. Went out chasing in hope of seeing structure and possibly some sort of
funnel.

| In Chanhassen looking
SW towards the NWS office. |
Fuzzy picture, there
is the Doppler on the bottom right. |
 |
 |
| New updraft starting to
take off and the old one on the left is falling apart. |
At this point I looked
at the base and thought this was a scary looking scene. |
 |
 |
| Looking down at Chaska
from Hwy 41 south. |
Nice updraft still with
rotation at the base and all kinds of strange motion. |
